Reenacting

Yesterday 400 children from St. Agnes school came on a fieldtrip to the Shawnee Indian Mission. The Hegners, Anna, and us were volunteers there, and had soooooo much fun reenacting and working with the kids! I probably took way to many pics, so these are just a few:

This is Amy - a friend we made yesterday who is also a homeschooler!

Emily, Amy and I got hungry so we snuck into the Emplyees Only room to steal some food. Hey - we were employees, weren't we?

And then the kids came...

Luckily, the school provided all the volunteers with lunch. Yay!!

Later, we amused ourselves by playing school...

"I know Teacher! I know!"

Oh, and playing soldier...

At the end of the day it was time to clean up...

And oh! Were our feet sore! (Mine and Ben's, at least. Sorry, buddy. I guess we're wimps.)

Ahhhhh! Much better!

This was also taken on the way home, and I know it doesn't have anything to do with anything, but Emily and I thought it looked like a picture of a band.
