Note: We are asking everyone to write introduction for our movie. (Why? Well, details will be provided later. Its very complicated:) This little summary should only be a few paragraphs long, but should cover the topics of the beginning of the war, introductions to our characters, etc. We will use one of them (or parts of different ones) to open the movie, as either a voice over or text. Of course, we are not MAKING anyone do this, so feel released if your schedule is just too busy. Emily, Ben and I can probably handle it, but it would be nice to have a little variety. Please contact me if you would like to volunteer.

By the way, are you Emily? For some reason it didn't sound like you. Maybe its just me. I am quite tired at the moment.
Yah, that was me (Emma). But i bet you are not as tired as me at this moment! I was up at 1:30 AM, and not back to sleep till 5:30!
I bet I am. :) I was up at 2 and din't go back to sleep till 5. At least I don't thik I did. The thunder was loud!!
By the way, I had (yet another) idea for the beginning of the movie, but it WOULD have to involve battle clips from one of the Civil War movies. You know that scene in Lord of the Rings where Pippin in singing for the Steward of Gondor while his son is riding out to battle? Maybe we could have Rebecca singing...like...the Battle Hymn or something and have little clips of a battle beginning. (Like we talked about...a clip of the Union raising their guns...singing...a clip of the Confederates raising their guns...etc.) Anyway, I'm not very good at explaining things and it looks alot better in my head.
By the way, I looked up Old Abe's speech and found the house divided part we would use if we decided on that. And I sort of wrote a summary. Sort of. :)

Ah, yes, I heard about the fire at your neighbors...in more ways than one actually. I remember hearing sirens last night very close by. I am very glad it was not your house that was struck by lightning!
