Confession: I actually enjoy rain...one day at a time. Okay, one night at a time. There is probably nothing more yummy to me than the sound of rain drumming on the rooftop when I'm in bed. But when it rains for weeks on end and everyone starts feeling like pale little hermits who've forgotten what the sun looks like...
Okay! In Mr. Smith's words, I feel compelled to realize that...I am a complainer!! Yikes! I also realize that I like to write too much. I love using just the right words to describe something (how I feel, for instance). So when I feel grumpy I proceed to write about it, and complain to all of bloggerdom. How lame is that.
Aaaannndd...since there's really nothing else for me to post right now...
...here are some Civil War pictures I stole off Ben's thumb drive. *evil snickers*
Ben: "Man! I should've taken all the good stuff off before I gave that to you!"
lol. Well, anyway, I have them now and am enjoying them, thanks to you. :)
Abraham Lincoln's birth place...(I want SOOO bad to go there!)

Abraham Lincoln at Antietam (you can single Lincoln out easily by his height and his top hat.) I wonder...is it odd to have an affection for someone who lived 140-some years ago who you never met?
Slaves working in the fields...
Company E, 4th U.S. colored infantry
"The Angle" at Gettysburg (Ahhh! I was just there and I stood RIGHT THERE!)
Sherman's March - Burning Atlanta
